Creating standing order and replenishing
Creating standing orders
Introduction: What is a standing order?
A standing order is an order that automatically recurs every week. It's a fixed list of products that a customer wants to receive every week again.
Why use standing orders?
With standing orders you can:
- Save time by not manually entering the same order every week
- Automatically serve regular customers with fixed orders
- No longer forget weekly orders
- Work faster for customers who order the same thing every week
How do you create a standing order?
Step 1: Go to the right menu
- Go to the "Sales" tile
- Click on "(Other) Standing order"
- You now see an overview of all standing orders
- Is the list empty? Then you haven't created any standing orders yet
Step 2: Creating a new standing order
- Click "New" at the top
- Fill in the following information:
- Name: Give the standing order a recognizable name
- Debtor: Choose the customer for whom this order is intended
- Employee: Choose the employee who handles this order
- Don't know this? Then fill in "Example"
- Day of the week: Choose on which day the order should take place (e.g., every Monday)
- Days in advance: Choose how many days in advance the order should be prepared
- Click "Save" at the top
Step 3: Filling the order with products
- Click on the standing order you just created
- Click "More..." at the top
- Now you can choose from two ways to fill the order
Option 1: Fill with existing order lists
Use this option if you already have an order list with the right products:
- Select "Via Lists"
- Choose the order list where the products are
- Fill in per product:
- How many pieces the customer wants
- For what price
- Click "Save"
- Repeat these steps for each product until the list is complete
Option 2: Fill with individual article types
Use this option if you want to add products one by one:
- Select "Via article types"
- Choose an article type
- Tip: Use the filter and type the product you're looking for to find it faster
- Fill in the following details:
- Sales units: Adjust these if necessary (per piece, per bunch, per box)
- Quantity: How many the customer wants every week
- Currency: The currency (usually euro)
- Price: For what price you sell it
- Optionally you can also fill in:
- Choose a supplier
- Add properties
- Add a container code
- Click "Apply"
- Repeat these steps for each product you want to add
Step 4: Done!
Your standing order is now created and filled. The system will now automatically prepare this order every week on the chosen day.
